Privacy Policy

Last updated October 22, 2026

Mity helps you build small habits that stick. This page explains, in plain language, what information we keep, how we protect it, and what we will and will not do with it. It applies to Mity at mity.me and the Mity app.

The short version: we keep your information to run Mity for you. We store it securely, and we never share it with third parties except to process it so we can provide the service.

What we store

Mity uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and protect your account.

How we use it

We use your information only to provide and improve Mity: to run your account, plans, and reminders, to reply to your texts, to keep the service secure, and to answer your support requests. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

We do not share it

We never share your information with third parties, with one exception: companies that help us process it to provide Mity. These providers act on our behalf, only to deliver the service, and are not allowed to use your information for their own purposes. They include the companies that host our servers and store files, send email and text messages, and power Ada's AI replies.

Other than that, your information stays with Mity. The exceptions are content you choose to share with other people in Mity, and disclosures the law requires of us.

How we protect it

We store your information securely and use safeguards designed to protect it from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so we cannot promise that your information will never be accessed without permission. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we will notify you as the law requires.

Your choices

We keep your information while your account is open. After you ask us to delete it, we remove it, except for limited records we must keep for legal or security reasons.

Washington standards and your consent

We aim to handle your information in line with Washington State privacy standards, including the principles behind Washington's My Health My Data Act: collect only what we need, be clear about how it is used, protect it, and honor deletion requests.

By registering for Mity, you consent to the collection, storage, and use of your information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not register. You can withdraw your consent at any time by asking us to delete your account, as described above.

Children

Mity is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date above. If a change is significant, we will let you know directly.
